Your spiritual journey belongs to you. Everything you log in Sakina — your moods, reflections, and history — is stored privately for your benefit only. We do not analyse it, sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. It exists solely to serve you within the app. Your written reflections and journal entries stay on your device.
We collect only what is necessary for the app to function:
Subscriptions are processed entirely by the app store you purchased through — Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). The store handles your payment card and billing details — the Service Provider never receives or stores that information. RevenueCat is used only to confirm whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous subscriber identifier (your in-app account ID) and a purchase-receipt confirmation; it does not receive your name, card number, or store account email.
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use device identifiers and similar technologies to support diagnostics and service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
The Service Provider shares data with the following services only as necessary to operate the app. Each has its own privacy policy:
The Service Provider does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other party for commercial purposes. Information may be disclosed only as required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to prevent fraud.
Your data may be stored on servers outside your country of residence. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers (including transfers outside the EEA), the Service Provider relies on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally recognised mechanisms.
The Service Provider uses encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest on our servers, and applies physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information. Data stored only on your device (such as your reflections) is protected by your device's own security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the Service Provider at ahmed.basolan97@gmail.com and it will be deleted immediately.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting the Service Provider. You can also delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete Account), which permanently removes your personal data and spiritual history from our servers. You may also request deletion by emailing ahmed.basolan97@gmail.com.
To stop further data collection, you can uninstall the Application. Uninstalling stops future collection but does not automatically delete data already stored on our servers — use the in-app Delete Account option or contact us to request that.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell your data), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Where processing is based on your consent (for example, push notifications or crash reporting), you provide that consent by opting in. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated inside the app before they take effect. The effective date above will be updated with each revision. Previous versions are available upon request.
